Probably a smart choice, bam buddy. At first I was like 'wtf is he crazy?' and then I thought about it and not taking the job is the more mature choice of the two. You know you're not ready and you're working with that. If you had taken the job you could've potentially screwed it up and then you'd feel pretty shitty. And it would probably take a while to get over that. So keep in contact with the peope. Write them a thank you letter and tell them you'd be interested after graduation or a year or two thereafter.
