Back in England

Arrived at Heathrow this morning and am currently struggling to stay awake until a sensible hour. I didn't sleep for more than hour on the plane, but a nap I took 3-4 seems to have worked pretty well. No. I'm not: that was somewhat to point of the post!

Although now you've got me wondering about the etymology of loo. A guess would be that it was originally a slang shortening of Waterloo (the place / battle) which was used as slang term (and/or) euphemism for water closer.
