bacterial vaginosis is almost like the opposite of a yeast infection. There is a balance of yeast and bacteria in the vagina. When there is an overgrowth of yeast, you get a yeast infection. When there is an overgrowth of bacteria, you get bacterial vaginosis. Bacterial vaginosis is the most common vaginal infection.
