I hope you're feeling ok! I'm a little confused - did you have a medical abortion? Or did you just miscarry? Because most of the time miscarriage has nothing to do with not taking care of your body... you can do an awful lot of bad things to yourself and not miscarry. Most often, miscarriage is caused by a defect in the embryo - a one-time thing.

Did you get that e-mail because you were posting here? If you don't mind forwarding the message or even just the e-mail address to me or one of the other mods that would be helpful.

Also, as eyelid said you can do a lot of stuff to your body and never miscarry, so I highly doubt you did anything to cause this.

Please get checked out by a doctor. You need to make sure the miscarriage was complete and that you aren't having any other complications.

I hope you're feeling better.

Oh as an FYI, don't trust lovetocrocet She was banned from here for harassing other members with e-mails, so I wouldn't be suprised if she was the one responsible for sending you the graphic photos. Sorry I just noticed that she commented in your journal.

It was her.. but I didnt feel harassed. She was nice about it and everything and didnt make me feel bad, but she "forwarded" a message from someone else to me. It was the graphic one...

Well, I'm not CERTAIN that it was my doing, but if only you knew the whole story.. you'd understand. I'm going with Jon tomorrow to make an appointment and hopefully get seen-- to make sure everything is complete. Oh, and EYELID it WAS a misscarry... well, I assume thats why I passed so much blood clots and blood that night. I've only been spotting since... but I havent had an abortion, and I hope the misscarriage is complete!

I miscarried an unplanned pregnancy at 22 and had an abortion at 26. The miscarriage was so much more difficult emotionally, even to this day, so I understand the weird conflicting emotions involved. I hope you went to get yourself checked out; an incomplete miscarriage can cause all sorts of problems.
