Ironic that I have often lamented the lack of attention to cauldron manufacture. I have spent considerable time and energy to write letters of complaint to various providers when a relatively new cauldron fails to function at a consistent temperature or reacts adversely to the potion brewing within due to diminished-quality of alloys or shoddy workmanship or thin-bottoms.

Professor Snape,

I completely understand your passion for cauldrons and I am deeply saddened that your professional passion was made out to be more important than the life of one I am sure you cared about immensely. Regrettfully, I didn't know Miss Brocklehurst as more than a classmate. However, I would like to ask you to please pass my sincere regrets over this horrible situation to Zak. I am thinking of you all.
