You have a very large gift to have that for yourself and feel those things. I remember getting a bit out of your loving yourself post earlier this summer, and I think I'm less on the un-self-loving side of the spectrum right now, but nonetheless I enjoy it and relate to it. Your ideas are counter-cultural, or at least very unemphasized in our culture; you don't hear people describing how much they love themselves at all, and yet I think that you're right in the beauty of it for the soul and being ( ... )

Yeah seriously. There are so many songs and poems and movies and shit about loving someone else but never any about loving yourself. It's defintely underestimated.

I don't think I believe in soulmates, but I don't think you meant that literally. I know what you mean, having one person on the same wavelength to share those moments would be a beautiful thing, but after having over a year of that and virtually no time alone, it's something that I'll start thinking about later. Being single right now seems very attractive to me, although good friends are always a must. I think that's what you're talking about anyway, in which case I agree with you, but it's just of least importance to me. I don't know if that made any sense.

Glad SC is working out, hope you can stay there all year. I'm sure you'll be fine.

And it's the answer to whether or not you're going to have true happiness.
