This is gorgeous. Absolutely stunning prose, and so very Kara. I particularly liked the connections and disconnections with Zak and Sam.

Oh, this is just perfect, thank you. As gorgeous as the opening section is, I'm really very touched by the picture of her on New Caprica, trying so desperately to be grounded, and missing flying so much, and not having anyone to share it with. Sigh.

Thank you! I'm delighted you felt this worked, especially the New Caprica section, as that was the one that felt the most awkward to write - though I did want to include it. Kara on New Caprica has always broken my heart.
