We truly just can't be liked by everyone. We all have this desire and we do not understand why. When we try to detach ourselves from it, we sometimes do it in a negative form like "f*** them all"... "If you don't like me... bla bla

No, you can't have everyone like you, but I like to think it's okay to just try to hurt as few as possible, or at least not take joy in it.
I heard a Schopenhauer quote, saying something about it being folly to live in the hearts of others. But I now cannot find the quote to be certain it's pertinent.
