Also, coming from someone who has almost been burned at the stake? Not really itching to do that to anyone else.

Had I any clear idea what these things are, I might have a suggestion to offer. Ghosts, for example, can not be made corporeal - not without invoking the Dark Arts, and I hardly think that appropriate of an upstanding warden such as myself.

Just thinking, if we can get these things to not disappear on us, to stay in our dimension or, whatever.. We can maybe communicate with them. Find out what they want. If they're really hostile or if they're just acting out with extra ghost angst.

I think it's...tryable. But Severus has got a point, if we try something on them without knowing what they are we could make it worse.

I was looking for a way to make them corporeal, to keep them from disappearing on us, so we can see what they are and maybe find out what they want.

Or, you know, being able to touch them might help with making them leave us alone. [BUFFY WANTS TO SLAY THEM ALLLLLLL.] But some kind of protection or repelling spell could be helpful too.

You... want to make ghosts corporeal. You know that most ghosts that interact with the physical world, as these have done are completely fucked in the head and really deeply violent, right?
