Good luck on your trip! How much is it costing you by train anyways?

$395 for the whole thing. The guy at the station told me there would be a $200 price difference if I didn't buy the tickets online though.

Whoa, that's awesome! Have fun on your trip and stay warm, I'm sure it's icy cold and very windy up there in Chicago right now. :)

That sounds like a great trip you have coming up. I've always wanted to do a long train ride but have never made the time for it. Have a great time!

One advantage with men's clothing, especially if you're going for a more classic look, is that a good tailor can do wonders with altering to fit. Better quality garments are often made with the assumption they'll be altered and so make allowances for that (wider seam allowances, a particular way of constructing the waist band, etc.). Focus on the fit of the shoulders as alterations to length and circumference will be easier (e.g., less complicated) than those across the shoulders.

I agree completely and had assumed that I would have to have my shirts and trousers altered at least a little bit. The hard part now will just be finding a good tailor in my area! If you know anyone in Orlando who has a recommendation, that would be helpful.

BEN!!!! COME TO BEANTOWN!!!! :)

I always love hearing about your life, even though you and I really don't know each other very well, but, I take your hurtles and file them away so I can MAYBE deal with my own kids when they get your age, lol.

No seriously, sounds like things are a changing, in a good way.
I always say, 'things happen for a reason', and though you may not know the reason right away, sounds like life has a plan for you. I hope everyting works out. Keep us posted. And um yeah, I'll virtually spank you too if your positive; you should know better. :P

Ok, I'll stop being your virtual mom now.

I agree. There was just too much compelling evidence in the situation to ignore it. :)

And hey, at least I made time to actually go and get checked! I'm a good kid, I promise.
