My dad even took the time one day to lead me away from my work and over to the open fridge where he asked, pointing at the jar of 100% natural peanut butter, if i knew what was wrong ( Read more... )

I keep my Adam's peanut butter in the fridge. Am I a sinner because of that?

Weird... I've never put my peanut butter in the fridge. I hate cold peanut butter.

i believe that the reason they ask you to keep all natural peanut butter in the fridge is because there are no preservatives keeping you safe from peanut butter mold! ah well, i'm sure it wont kill you. plus the oil stuff and the peanut stuff sticks together better when its cold... but... once its stuck together its really really hard to get it out of the jar- a solid brick of pb... the glass jars don't really help much.

perhaps your father and tom believe that sacrificing a little bit of thier health is worth it for the convienence of not having to fight with the knife and jar as they make a snack?

i think the keeping weird stuff in the fridge thing is a 'book people' thing. when i used to work at the store i would find toothpicks, rubber band balls, forks, toothpaste and like 13 different varieties of steak sauce in there. no idea.
