Turd and I were in Tijuana once and bought some churros from one of those carts. I think the situation was unfamiliar to him, which was funny to me, because they're all over Chicago's western neighborhoods.
It's great that you are getting settled and are in good spirits about it all!!! I'll be 20 minutes away from you on holloween. I'm going to see Coheed and Cambria at the Riviera Theater. EEK! What will you be doing on that day? And if we spend the night, what will you be doing the next day? I'm thinking lunch with me and my friends if you are down!?
I have no Halloween plans yet but I can nearly guarantee I'll be spending them at a certain bar where I'm a regular. Sure I'm down. And if you do decide to stay the night we can probably put you up, just so long as there aren't a million of you.
REALLY? That would be.....awesome! There are four of us total. Claud, Briana, Dale and I. I don't know how much you ever frequented Denny's but both Claud and Dale were servers for a while. We haven't figured out what we're doing and the boys don't know about the trip yet (it's a birthday present, they just know to take the day off). If four is almost hitting the million mark- TOTALLY understandable and I wouldn't want to crowd the new place, but that would it'd amazing to see you and have a place to crash! Let me know!
We have two couches and of course floor space. I'll just have to let my roommates know ahead of time. Sam was having loud sex with the door open today so I think he owes me. Hah.
I'm going to be in chicago from sunday through tuesday. Just throwing that out there, because I would like to hang out but since we've never really had a conversation I don't know if you'd care to.
Looks a little like the apartment building you were living in when I visited you in Chicago. But you seem to have much better roommates this time around.
Really? My house looks nothing like that old building, aside from the fact that they are both brick. Yes, better roommates. I'd still rather live in my Roscoe Village place, though (which you didn't get to see).

That Reuben hybrid sounds good! The missing ingredients were prolly swiss and thousand island.
Oh and how I envy you for having Palatas carts going through your neighborhood! I've only seen those guys here at ethnic festivals.
