Hullo! My address book is kinda...sparse, and while I think your e-mail address is probably really straightforward and I ought to remember it, my brain isn't working tonight. So I'll post this here in case it e-mails you on comments.

I'm trying to recall the term for that thingy where a sample plug going through HPLC tubing flows slower next to the tubing than it does down the middle, and thus the edges of the plug get distorted. I cannot jog it loose in my brain. Can you help, by any chance? If not, no sweat. If you find this comment years from now, feel free to laugh at me. (Or, y'know, now, if the mood strikes you...)
