What is with giving me "warning" for things like cheating, infidelity, "Open Marriage" and a singular f/f kiss? These things don't need warnings people. A "Warning" should read more like: "Necrophilia with Chan of under-age Beastiality containing scat scene and deranged author on ice." Otherwise its just... what? and makes me want to scroll right ( Read more... )

Pffft. Also, if they're warning for open marriage AND infidelity AND cheating, they probably need to check their definitions of one or all of those things.

Kind of, and those were all in the same warning too. I just thought I didn't need a warning for ANY of them. Should have left a 'warning' for that author to never venture near anything I write. lol.

Er, I don't like cheating, and would prefer to be warned for it. However, I see your point about giving plot away. Perhaps you could campaign for authors to post all warnings under those funky invisibility cloaks, so people who want to know can "highlight to read".

Really? I just assume its a given in most slash where the characters are married. I don't intend to warn for it.

Allow me to clarify. I don't like it when Harry and Draco cheat on each other. If they're married and cheating on their spouses to be together, then hey, I'm all for it! I guess what I'm thinking is, if Harry and Draco are in an established relationship, I don't want one of them having an affair. It makes me sad.
