Oh my goodness this is beautiful. I love how the shadow--which is all in a line--shows an entirely different way of seeing the otherwise generally round shape of the flowers, so you get two perspectives layered into one image. And that bud and the leaves below it are gorgeously delicate and seem to lift right off of the "page." There's all kinds of wonderful spatial effects in this--if that makes any sense at all.

Thank you, and yes it does. It was the shadows that attracted me to make the picture.
