and then over at the old summer palace, we were instructed not to depict nearby the roiling rampaging masses of the Plague Of Frogs. there was also a silly little maze, and an inexplicable walnut. the next day I took the underground to the museum of the people's silly socialist statuary, aka the military museum. Haha, I laughed really hard at the walnut.

I don't know about you, but I'd offer money to walnut painted gold..

heh. the really funny thing is that most of the offerings were one fen notes (aka monopoly money), a fen being the lowest denomination of chinese currency - there is literally *nothing* that one can buy with a practical number of these. probably just trying to get rid of the damn things...
