Joining In!

Post a little blurb about yourself so that we can all get to know each other better.  I would love to have all of my friends (new & old) post a little something about themselves.  Also, if you're not on my friends list and would like to be, here's your chance to join and introduce yourself!

Here's some info about me:

I'm Abby, 29, and I married ( Read more... )

I’m Elissa, 31, married to Chris 32 since October 2005. We live right outside Seattle in our little home by ourselves! We are expecting our baby girl to arrive the second week of June and couldn’t be more thrilled.

I work at a *large* coffee company in recruiting for operations and Chris actually works here as well, he is a CPA working in financial IT security. We love living in the greater Seattle area, wine tasting, cooking, shopping, reading magazines and just hanging out with friends! We’d like to travel more too 

I have a niece and nephew that currently are in Germany with my brother and SIL, Chris has two nephews that live in Kansas with his sister and BIL.

I know you have read this before, but I'll post it anyway :)

I'm Kate, 28, married to Mike, also 28, but sometimes thinks he is still 21! We live just outside Tampa, Florida in a house we totally renovated for the year before our wedding in October, 2005. I am an editor at a community newspaper and I really love my job (which I feel is worth metioning as I am in the minority!). I am also (supposedly) writing a chick lit book in my free time. Mike is a lawyer who works for a big insurance company and he also loves his job (how lucky are we?!). We don't have any kids yet, but I am hoping that will change some time soon, and until then, I spend as much time as possible with my neice Sophie and my friends' little ones.
I love reading, laying in the sun, swimming, kick boxing, cooking and shoppping and I am pretty famous around here for my crazy MIL stories!
I am sure there is a ton more, but I think that about covers it.

I didn't know you were born in New Zealand -- pretty cool!

I'm Yoojin (26), and I married my college sweetheart, John (also 26) a little more than a year ago. I'm a Systems Manager (computer stuff) for a hospital, and John's a Senior Auditor at a bank. We live in a home we bought last year right before we got married (crazy time!) in a suburb near Seattle, and love living here, close to our family.

I love to take long drives w/ my hubby, taking long weekend trips, hanging out w/ our family and friends, reading, writing, watching TV, and cooking. Even though I have like 20 cookbooks, I look to LJ for recipe inspirations because I like looking at my cookbooks for the pretty pictures, but somehow can't get myself to cook much out of them. I'm also trying to love working out (to balance out my love of eating! ;)...I'm not there yet, but hopefully I will be soon!

'm Karen (28) and am married to Damon (27). Yes I married a younger man (only by 6 months though) :) We got married this past October on the 21st and are currently living in Orlando. Like teddybg I met my husband at a fraternity house (at the University of Florida). I am originally from New Jersey, but have lived in Florida since I was 9 years old.

I work as a financial analyst for the largest defense company in the U.S. In my spare time I enjoy watching too much reality television, traveling, reading magazines, and am addicted to Gator sports and online shopping. I also really enjoy spending time with my girlfriends and am involved in the alum organization for my sorority. My favorite thing to do is to hang out with my husband and our Pug, Rosie. We currently are looking for a house and are trying to have a baby.
