Washing Machine Recs?

Our washing machine just pooped out on us this past weekend and we're in the market for a new one.  We'd like to purchase a front-loading machine since everything we've read and everyone we've talked to think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread.  I think we've narrowed it down to three brands:  LG, Bosch, and Whirlpool.  Does anyone have

We have the LG washer and dryer and I can't tell you how much I love them. I really really do. The set we have has the steam function which we use all the time to 'iron' our clothes. It also has a sterilization setting which is fab too. The drum is tipped as well so it cuts down on the musty smell that sometimes happens when you (I) forget about a load in the wash and it sits for a while. I just really adore them. I do know nyclaura had problems with her though, so she might have something to add.

My parents just bought a new LG set and my mom can't stop talking about how great it is. I almost want to go over to their house to do laundry to see if it really is that much better.

We just bought a new LG front loading washer and dryer when we moved into our house. We're very happy with the way they do laundry and the cool beeping sounds it makes to tell you its done.

However, I don't know if its really making that much of a difference--to me, a washer is just a washer! I can't really tell the difference between the way this new machine washes my clothes and our old one...
