Stroller Search!

Since I usually research things to death before I actually decided on something, I'm starting my stroller search early.

As of right now, I'm ruling out travel systems only because I hear they are very bulky and heavy.  Since I'll be lifting this thing in and out of the car and I have had back problems in the past, I'd rather not get something ( Read more... )

I have the Graco Snugrider which only accepts Graco carseats. It's inexpensive, sturdy and easy to use. Since we live in the suburbs we usually need to take it in and out of the car, so size/weight was a concern. I plan to get a regular stroller (leaning towards a Maclaren to Micralite) when Dumpling outgrows the carseat.

That said, one of my best friends lives in NYC and has a BOB -- no complaints so far.

I'll have to check the Snugrider out. It's definitely a much cheaper option and gives us time to figure out exactly what we want in a stroller. Thanks for you suggestion.

I think you should get a good infant seat, then just use the Snap and Go. I WISH that I had gone this route. I like my Chicco, but it is so heavy and a pain to get in and out of my trunk. I've heard good things about the Bob though!

The Bob is nice but pretty pricey. I'll definitely check out the Snap and Go. I'm so glad I have you ladies to give me advice.

Snap-n-go all the way!

We got the Chicco travel system and we do love the system. The full size stroller is nice for full days at the mall, but when the kid was younger and i had to transfer her back n forth within the car seat, the snap-n-go was my best friend. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Another tip...Sign up for the babysrus card now or whatever list they have and start receiving your coupons now. :) We didn't get the card until the kid was born and the $10 off this stroller and $20 off that baby swing would have been totally helpful!

Hi,
I "see" you around in many of our common LJ friends post. Do you mind if I friend you?

BTW, I am looking at the BOB as well. :-)
