We are getting into the thick of things! There's so much coming together and I like that you're not rushing (even though you barely touched on what was all supposed to be chapter 15 last chapter). Though damn you for the cliff hanger. *shakes fist*

I gotta say that reading this reminded me of random details from earlier in the story that I'd forgotten until now. Like the fact that Nino had been captured and that he's got two dots tattooed outside the corner of his eye for each time he's managed to escape. And how a lot of that has shaped his mentality, his commingled fear and determination. He's been to hell and back again like it's a summer home, knows what to be afraid of. But he also knows how to burn it to the ground and will take that opportunity in a heartbeat. ♥

I'm going to have to go back and re-read this series from the beginning when you finish.

Nino's previous escapes are really important, so I'm glad you remember those. I was afraid that the mention of them was too far back for people to recall. XD

I sort of worry that the beginning in no way matches up with how the end is shaping up; will I have continuity errors like a comic book? ONLY TIME WILL TELL.
