OK so they keep saying there might be a new series of Torchwood.

but then they build the new Tardis INSIDE the Hub set...
look the Torchwood Dragon behind the Doctor...

It doesn't mean the end for Torchwood, it just means that Torchwood when it happens will be in a different base, and the Hub got blown up so it's not surprising. I mean, even if the new base is where the old Hub was, we'd have to assume it'd been refurbished anyway so they'd just built the set elsewhere. Maybe a smaller one where the old TARDIS set was or something.

yes, i am always looking on the bright side., just preparing myself for the worst....

it was just a bit weird suddenly seeing the dragon popping up behind the doctor!

i suppose Jack has got his way now and ALWAYS has the doctor on hand in the hub! *giggle*

This was always planned. I read something like 13+ months ago (I think Wales Online...and just before 'Planet of the Dead' aired) about how Doctor Who was going to HD and how they would be needing a whole new Tardis consol set since the set they had was not geared for HD. And it seemed logical that the new Doctor would have the new set. Now more recently (and I think again Wales Online)

OK I did a search just now and found a BBC news article about the same New Film studio only this one was from the BBC News: It said the new building (in the roath basin)to be completed in 2016 still said Torchwood would be filmed there)

Just a thought But this delay in not telling us any news is just them waiting for all the peices to come together: the availibilty of Actors and a new place to film.
