Dear livejournal my paid account expired but that still doesn't give you the right to spam me with these ads I have never once opted into this shit fuck you.

I do however approve of the random six icons you gave me XD it's only missing my lizard queen one.

That's the plus account. And actually, by not renewing a paid account, you did opt in by not opting out by either renewing or switching to a Basic account. Say hello to pop-ups and Russian porn until you get a Basic account. You lose the extra icons, but you don't have to read about Justin Bieber's latest crush.

But I've always had a basic account to begin with and I only have six icons! Which by all rights should mean I have a basic... like it says on my profile but I'm still seeing ads >>

Are they the pop-up ads that you have to wait a couple seconds to close out of, or the ones that appear along the margins? If you use Firefox, AdBlock should take care of the latter; I have a Plus account, and I only see the ads if I'm using a different browser.
