[Open Text Post]

Perhaps it goes without saying, but I won't be in to work today.

If you're on the subway, you've undoubtedly heard about what's going on.  Don't panic.  Stay close to friends.  If you don't have friends, make some.  If you would rather not know more about what has been going on, please don't read the rest of this post.

The following is a rough documentation of the deaths that have occurred on the subway.  If they continue as I think they will, I'll update this post with further information (I will not, however, be investigating any more of the deaths personally).  Times are approximate.  Names may or may not be correct; some were overheard, others were provided by bystanders.

Friday, 6 am
Maria (can't spell last name) - Voice recording.  Strange background noise (supernatural?).  Excessively bloody death.  (Did not arrive in time to examine body before it was moved.)

Friday, 12 pm
Unknown - Death coincided with (train wide?) electrical failure.  Broken neck, no apparent flesh wounds, minor subconjunctival hemorrhaging.  Withered flowers.
- Personal experience: Apparent shrinking of car, darkening outside at approximate time of death.

Friday, 6 pm
Ruby - Voice recording.  Confrontation with an entity (illusory?).  Vertical evisceration.  Excessive blood.  (Did not get a close look at the body.)

Midnight
Alan Ryves - Voice recording.  Fatal hemorrhaging.  Died in Car Twelve.  Victim's report (via Miller): No connection between victims, something (spirit?) affecting the train.

Saturday, 6 am
Shira - Voice recording.  Doubtlessly bloody.

Saturday, 12 pm
Cinna - Video recording.  Scissor impalement (how much strength does it take to force scissors through the sternum?).

Saturday, 6 pm
Luc - Video recording.  Fatal, bloody death-by-suitcase.

Midnight
Unknown - Video recording.  Cuts?

Sunday, 6 am
Gilbert Nightray - Video recording.  Glass lacerations.

Sunday, 12 pm
Lulu Bell - Video recording.  Spontaneous combustion?  Was not alone at time of death.

Sunday 6 pm
Mercy - Video recording.  Werewolf?

Midnight
Asch - Audio recording.

Misc.
- Deaths appear to happen when the victim is isolated.
- Presence of an anticoagulant (warfarin?) on wooden surfaces.  Accounts for excessive bleeding.
- Thirteen cars.  First twelve appear nearly identical.
- Regular stops.  Passengers able to board, unable to disembark.  Talk of a monster keeping passengers on the train.
- Apparitions outside of train windows (world-specific, apparently).
- No ticking.
- Grossly overpriced food.
- Paranormal experiences?  Flickering lights, hot/cold spots, eerie voices, movement of train walls (apparent or actual?), doors malfunctioning.  (Have not experienced all--largely overheard.)  Timing possibly related to deaths (?).

[Possible Action, Train Car Three]

[After playing Holmes and Watson with Rudy for some time last night, Justin grew tired of blood and running about the train and returned to the compartment he had originally found himself in.  He's not so stupid as to go against his own advice.  Being alone on this train seems to be a death sentence, and he isn't keen on dying again.

Justin hasn't slept since early yesterday morning, and it shows.  But really, how can anyone sleep here with the apocalypse outside and apparently supernatural murders inside?  He has a variety of hypotheses about the deaths--what's causing them, to what ends people are dying--but it's fruitless to posit them when there's nothing to do to prevent further death.  Investigation is pointless.  All he can do is watch the network and his surroundings and record what he hears and sees.  And he can think, for all of the good that will do.

He has a row to himself, about as alone as one can be in a train car full of other people.  Justin alternates between checking the network and jotting down notes in a small notebook.]

[ooc: I *think* everything in Justin's notes has been pulled from the network, but if I've overstepped any bounds, mods, throw something at me and I'll change it!]

notes, action, fml, still working, at least it can't get worse, never stops thinking, i take notes for fun, tmi, maudlin, plot, psa, forensics, calling in cursed, common sense: use it
