I agree with your rents, you should report it as it was attempting mugging. If you feel guilty about the guy in the car (whcih you shouldn't) just think how awful you'll feel if you find out this happens to someone else, but they don't get away so lucky, they might get beaten up or worse if you don't report it honey. I don't want to scare you, but you hae the chance to stop them doing it to someone else
