This is absolutely horrible. They stole my idea. And here I thought, I had a good, original idea that I was developing into a short story. Sure, the movie came out in the 70s before I was breathing and the book came out long before that, but still this is a travesty.

Oh well, gotta go and see what I can salvage from it.

that is the most terribly annoying thing... i'm always worried as hell that my ideas have already been conceived, without my knowledge...

The Boys from Brazil

After going to the Holocaust museum with Rob I noticed how people were desensitized to a lot of the exhibits but everyone was shocked when they saw the Mengele exhibit even drawing gasps from the crowd. Sometimes even more than Hitler, he symbolizes the evil of Nazism.

I did research on him on the net. A lot of his work dealt with "genetics" so I had an idea about making Mengele still being alive (70's-80’s) and working on cloning in South America. I would have developed it differently, but it's still the same basic idea.

I guess. But I still learned from it and perhaps can use it in the future.
