So, I spent most of Thursday searching high and low for a laptop, or any other keyboard bearing writing tool to take upnorth with me so I wouldn't be too far behind. I had several leads which fell apart last minute, then much to my relief N's mom offered me her company laptop. (I have poor circulation in my hands so they have a tendency to go numb

I think the point is just giving yourself time to write. Any time, any writing. (I bet it's not something you're in the habit of making time for, but it sounds like you're enjoying the process. I bet you'll start finding time to do it more, which can only be a good thing.)

I agree. I do love writing, but it is so time consuming. Concentration is my second foe. It's difficult to think about only one thing (like a plot) when I have so much other work to do. Hell, I don't even get to be alone in the bathroom, so Imagine how little uninterrupted time I get to write.

When did it die? (I'm not surprised that it gave out. It was getting pretty old.) I'll ask him what he wanted for it, though I can't imagine it would be very much.
