I meant to post this months ago and forgot, but every now and again it comes on, and I'm like "That's too much! I have to show this to others

I hope we will be raising Ben on "Teletubbies," DVDs of "Star Trek," "Wonder Woman," & "The Brady Bunch," and DVR'ed episodes of "Mork & Mindy." I also think he should experience "Kipper the Dog," "Electric Company," and pre-Elmo era "Sesame Street." Are the classic 1970's "Spider Man" cartoons on DVD?
Sitting through the Teletubbies is like allowing someone to repreatedly spike you in the brain with an ice pick. You loose IQ points with every second of viewing.
N has been trying very hard to get the girls to watch Star Trek, but to no avail. They (like their mother) can apparently only handle so much nerdosity and used-up played out story lines. That's also why I don't subject them (or myself) to soap opera's.
You will probably have to wait until he's a bit older for him to enjoy (or even sit through) Wonder Woman, Mork and Mindy, and the Brady's. Or I suppose you can try to start him out on them early, but from my experience, he won't really enjoy such until he's much older. Little kids like colorful, musical, soft edged programs, and those shows are not. However, Sesame Street will be great early on (even with the annoying Elmo) because of it's color and music.
No, actually a lot of kid programs are fine - like Blues Clues, the Wiggles, Dora and The Backyardigans. It's just only a few that are rather bizarre - like Yo! Gabba gabba, tellatubbies, and that creepy dinosaur Barney (who is not allowed to be viewed in my home).

Also, I don't remember calling, though it's possible one of the kids got ahold of my phone and messed with the programmed numbers.
Anyway, my email is Kimberlee18@hotmail.com
