Yeah, it's inconsiderate to cancel plans without letting the other person know. It reminds me of this one dateline I saw. This angsty teen couple decided they were both too sad to live, so they met in a sewer to commit suicide together. So they girl shot herself in the head and it scared the crap out of the guy, so he just ran away.
He didn't even give her notice...

Anywho, about the Passion of the Christ. I'll try not to pick any arguments with you, cause... well, yeah. But I think people were poiting out that the movie was extremely violent because a) it is, and b) tons of christian groups are encouraging people to take their whole families to see the movie! People have been saying that children should see the movie, which is sort of stupid not because Jesus' last days weren't blood soaked, but because so many Christian groups continually say that violence in movies is the degeneration of our society, etc, etc.

You make a very good point, Person With the Awesome Icon!

The violence in the Passion of the Christ is okay for families to see. It is in the name of God- woah, wait. I'm not gonna say that. It sounds super freaky-deaky. Okay, it's because Mel Gibson wanted to show everyone, in detail, what Jesus really went through so that we could have even a chance to get into heaven. The extreme! violence is a factor in moving our hearts. I think the main reason parents don't want their kids to watch shoot-em-ups is because it's unnecessary and might make kids think they can be badass if they hurt other people.

I mean. After watching the Passion, how many kids wanted to crucify somebody? O_o;

as far as the little kids seeing it I'm rather undecided on that atm but what I was actually addressing were the peers I had previously discussed the movie with. Yea many "Christian" groups are hypocritical.

LOL @ slipping and sliding down the sidewalk!

And yeah, cancelling without informing anyone is just plain rude. Means that you've wasted time and effort to get to where you agreed to meet for nothing. And you've booked yourself for that timeslot, which means that if anyone offers to do something with you, you can't accept, because as far as you know, you've already got plans. Then by the time you realise that you don't, it's too late to do anything with anyone!

Um, yeah it ticks me off too LOL.
