have i mentioned how much i hate ebay snipers? i found exactly the scope i wanted for my new rifle (burris 6-18x) in my price range and had the top bid on it for the last couple days, then went to check on it and got outbid by $5 with 6 seconds left.

I hate to say it, but sniping is how the eBay game is played. You have two choices

i know.. i was just in the mood to whine.
and its also partly, i'm never sure what the most i'm absolootely willing to spend is. i found a couple prices for the item new, and knew i was WAY under that, and i probably would've gone a bit higher, but i didn't want to lock myself in to a higher price.
oh well, not like i'm really gonna shoot the thing anytime soon. its 15 degrees out now. i've got all winter to find a scope.
