Soooo I've been meaning to do this for a while. I know I answered some questions @ the "Ask the Maker" meme ages ago but the way I icon has changed a lot since then so I decided not to post the round up version of those questions. I'm mostly curious about your coloring process: do you pick out a color palette that you want to use beforehand or just kind of wing it, if you do pick out a color palette then how do you do so, what tools/adjustments do you usually use to make your coloring happen?

Most of the time I wing it as I go, unless I have a clear vision on what I want the coloring to look like I will make it up as I go. The only thing I plan form the coloring is the background color. lD When I do pick the colors before hand I'll manip them through the color balance layers & brushes. If I'm lazy I'll mask/erase areas of the icon & use color balance layers to bring out the coloring. Idk if that makes sense.
