Since I put my style contest submission up, I've noticed some people have been using it. Which is awesome. They've also pointed out some bugs or requested some extra functionality. I don't think I'm allowed to edit my style after I've submitted it, so I made a non-public copy of the style and edited that instead. I'm using the non-public style on ( Read more... )

Awesome :-), sounds like everything is perfect now.

Too bad your style wasn't one of the winning ones in the contest :-(, I really thought it would be! Oh well, I guess it has a kind of 'leetness to using it now since it won't be official ;-).

Well, there were a lot of great entries in the competition, so I'm not that surprised I didn't win. And I'm really amazed that quite a few people like my style. I'm happy with that even though I didn't win!

As for the style, I'm still working on it, but it's getting there. :) You see I rushed to get this style submitted on time, and ended up forgetting a lot of the small stuff. I'll probably update the code sometime tonight.

I'm a bit surprised that they've announced the winners already, I thought that the voting would stop at midnight (PST), not in the middle of the day.

I love the style! I wish it would have been one of the winning ones, too. Have a question about customizing it, though. Is there any way to set it up so that your layout is a certain pixel width instead of a percentage of the window? I love to try to put a header on it, but would rather do the pixel width than have it look different on every computer. Thanks if you can answer this in any way. :D

There's definitely a way to set it to a fixed width. Would it be easier for you if I added it so that you can specify that in the customization wizard?

You don't have to change that part of the style just for me, unless you want to have the feature available in the future. I appreciate the thought though.

I don't really get S2 at all, but if you pointed out where and what to stick the code-stuffs, I'd appreciate it. :D :D :D

OK, sorry I took so long to reply. I had a lot of bugs to fix. :-p You can specify a fixed width in the customization wizard now. And here's how you add a header to your style! If you still have any questions, just ask.
