Transmogrified

I just updated the code for my style, Transmogrified. There are a lot of changes to the code, so if you were using the style before, please check to see that I didn't break anything. :p If you made a copy of the style into your own layer, you should copy over the new code.

Also if you do use the theme, do let me know.

Ack! You weren't supposed to see this, I'm not finished writing this yet. :eek: I still have a couple of things to fix before making this post public.

If you want to add emoticons to your current style, and you're comfortable messing around with S2, I wrote a more general tutorial.

Oh, thanks so much for that. :) I'm bookmarking the tutorial until I have the time to go a-hunting for specific smilies. I really appreciate this. Thanks, Yvonne. :)

I love your theme and am currently using the default colourings on my journal, but I have one question/request... Is there any way you can set up a colour or border around the poster information? It tends to run into the post, with it being the same background colour as the post box. It's a pretty small thing, but just having a line below the information and between the post or having the background colour around it change would be awesome.

Thanks!

I'm not sure which poster information you mean. If you mean the information under the entry which says "Mem Link Groans Groan Here", then you can easily put a border/background around it by using CSS.

Go to the customization wizard, and in the CSS tab, paste in this:
.entry1 .entryInfo {
background: #cfe0e6 none repeat scroll top left;
border: 1px solid #739adf;
padding: 5px;
}
.entry2 .entryInfo {
background: #ffdfbf none repeat scroll top left;
border: 1px solid #fc7f3f;
padding: 5px;
}

And you can do a similar thing with the comments if you use this too:
.comment1 .commentInfo {
background: #cfe0e6 none repeat scroll top left;
border: 1px solid #739adf;
padding: 5px;
}
.comment2 .commentInfo {
background: #ffdfbf none repeat scroll top left;
border: 1px solid #fc7f3f;
padding: 5px;
}

I like the userinfo images you have on your journal. :)

Awesome! I'll implement that right away.

The poster information I was refrencing was the LJ Username and the post time and date (more prevelent in comments, when it's a long string)

I love this style! I'm gonna use it the next time I change layouts.

PS. I personally thought that your style was the best. You should have won. :|

(See the "Enable the use of emoticons in the text" property in the "Presentation" tab.)

I'm not sure where the presentation tab is.

Oh. You should go to the Customize Journal page, and hit the "Edit Customizations" button. Then you should get to a page with a bunch of tabs. The "Presentation" tab is already selected. :) The property you're looking for is the third last one.
