Part I

It's not much different here on the outside than it was prior to the casino being accessible when this new district first appeared. However, with the lights inside on in-use floors dimmed and still some security to attempt and prevent anyone from venturing in, it gives off an air of suspicion. Enough suspicion that anyone venturing over there to spy might even find not only others, but even other people who seem to be natives to this area trying to get a better look. Talking to them won't give much information in the overall scheme, but there are a few that can provide enough information suggesting that if characters are interested in getting inside it's now possible with the lowering of security. These people don't seem too keen on going in themselves, however. In fact, questioning them if they've successfully tried will only get you a laugh ("Are you crazy? Didn't you see what happened the other night? Place is definitely haunted. Just curious what the hell they're so protective off and all. Pass the info on if you find anything?"). Nevertheless, their information is accurate and while your characters can attempt a daring move to sneak right past the security through main doors (it's possible!), other options seem more viable: options that may or may not have been there before. A few side doors-particularly just stopping short of where the casino itself ends and hotel area begins-and some conveniently placed lower windows, in particular. Then, if one has the means somehow, there is always taking the prospect of scaling the roof and entering from there (or, if you're climbing up there, entering anywhere in between the ground and roof where no security exists roaming).

Once inside, you'll find a rather familiar and yet very unfamiliar area to explore. The casino is mostly empty save for guards scattered about (think like museum security), but as far as the main floor where the murders happened? Looks like nothing occurred. Everything is back to normal-no broken glass, no splintered chairs, no bodies pinned against the wall or other objects. Only on very close inspection of the supposed areas where it was originally will there be any trace of blood. And the blood's existence is honestly a coin toss with the lighting as some may see it and some may not. All floors are explorable, and with exploration people will find this to be true in addition to two more. One above the top floor of the casino and one below the lowest level. On those new floors, the scenery is still relatively consistent with that of a building: albeit empty and unused.

The top floor is drafty and eerie (not to mention without lights-your only illumination is if you brought some flashlights or lanterns and the moonlight outside) with its overly large windows and lack of anything present on it. The unusual thing is, the farther those attempting to explore the top floor stray away from the entrance/exit to the lower floor, the less it feels like this place is really empty. It feels like something is there, more claustrophobic, and the presence only gets heavier but it's just a feeling without sound.

That is, until they get to the complete opposite end of the floor: they'll reach for the door, and there will be a sickening crack but before they can turn, they'll be slammed (hard) against the door/wall (if there's more than one) only to find themselves pinned for a good ten seconds before finally feeling a "dropping" effect only to land down against the floor of the main lobby.

The bottom floor is similar in its lack of decoration or use (but has a little bit of light-still any equipment would be quite helpful), but it has a more typical basement feel to the point that it becomes a solid tunnel with a door at the end. A solid narrow tunnel with really poor, flickering lighting. And nothing but solid concrete and it looks like it's a decently long walk. Not one you'd want to get chased down or anything...
