Who: Eike Kusch, Chief Warden Tamaki, Bellatrix Lestrange, Regulus Black, Sirius Black, Elena, and OPEN.
What: The carnival.
Where: The fountain area.
When: September 15; late afternoon to evening.
It was not so much careful planning as it was simply asking the three magically-inclined helpers if it would be possible to encompass all that made up a carnival. Eike's memory of carnivals was vague, at best, which meant that Namae's (and Tamaki's agreement to Namae's recollection) belief of carnivals would be the idea that it would be most based on. He had not thought that it would become such a large event that it was; thinking that he would only juggle in front of Shiro and Ganta before finding them something to eat. It really had warmed his heart that people had thought to take time out of their day to make it a festival for not just two people, but for everyone. Well, as many people that would come, anyway.
The empty irregular rectangular area around the fountain was "divided" into four smaller areas meant for enjoyment. Top-left was meant for the almost Ferris wheel ride had it not also been for the flames which shot up and around the contraption, in a manner which could only been seen as "unsafe." (For his part, Eike was uncertain what a flaming wheel of death was supposed to be and could only guess that fire would erupt around the wheel as people rode in a dizzying manner -- and hoped that was considered fun). Top-right held the both the cage meant for fighting; an enormous fenced in area wrapped in barbed and other piercing wires. There was a table set out front at the best vantage view of all fights, which was meant to be the judge's table. It only seemed fair that if people were to fight someone was to make sure that they would not carry it on too far. In this same area just a few feet away stood the guillotine. Blade hanged precariously in place by a rope that was wrapped around at the bottom. A small sign had been set next to it -- which could mostly be overlooked -- that read: "Mostly for design's sake. Be careful not to touch the rope if someone should be playing in-between its arch."
Food and other such concessions took up the lower-right hand side, but only allowing three booths present with the available space in this quadrant. Which meant the liquor and other such "adult" beverages and food was unfortunately set next to the cotton candy and other "child-friendly" snacks. The final space -- bottom-left -- was where both petting zoo and games were set. Games included the usual shooting (shooting booths, ring-toss booth, darts, and basketball hoops) and fishing for plastic ducks with painted bottoms (match two of the same and get a prize). Of course, the ducks themselves had a rather disturbingly cheerful look to them that seemed more disquieting than meant to bring amusement and joy. Prizes themselves were the usual large toys for big winners and small bits of knickknacks (like plastic rings and the like). Of course, actually winning might not end well for the person. Throughout the prizes, Bellatrix had randomly placed hexes.
The petting zoo was where a few could leave their familiars for children or other young teens to be able to pet and play with, should the people be so kind as to indulge them with such a simple request. Eike had already left his beloved Ginger in as a sign of good faith that no one would do anything to harm the small kitten. Bellatrix had left her own familiar - a giant serpent with three heads which constantly seems to be snapping at the other in argument. Ginger, like its derpy owner, occasionally would meow at the snake in a way that seems like “friendly greetings.” Eike had asked Bellatrix if she would put some animals in as well, just in case people were feeling untrusting. He stressed that they should be "cute." The cage is filled with various serpents -- not particularly large or venomous, though they do bite. And one small pony that appears to be sporting two heads and six legs, making it very clumsy and ramming into the other animals. Tamaki’s familiar is also among the rather odd crew, chilling out and otherwise watching the chaos that the other familiars are causing (flying out of the way whenever the pony or snakes should get too close).
As for Eike, himself, he had dressed in a juggler's outfit -- white cloak with white mask to "hide his identity" and wandered about performing for various groups of people who came. Balloons litter the area as does rainbow-colored crate paper, which is tied between the booths. There are even a few balloon animals that are running around the area in joyous abandonment. Until they actually come across someone then they begin attacking them with surprisingly sharp teeth. Best to watch out for those. All in all, it seems as though everything had finally come into place. Most of those places beyond what Eike knew, of course.
[ooc: The hexes can be up to the players. Both if their character won one of the hexed prizes and what would happen to their character now that it is in their possession. And if Elena or Sirius-mun wishes me to change anything, please ping me on e-mail or im.]
