Who: Spike (7livesleft), Smoker (brandedjustice), Genkaku (thanatolatry), Nagi (cicumae)
What: Going to a concert. :|
Where: SOMEWHERE sketchy probably.
When: Very recently.

It took him longer than he thought to get everything he needed. Wearing a borrowed trench coat, he stalked down the street to their meeting spot. He'd asked Smoker to wait for him about two blocks away from their target. He flicked away the tail end of cigarette, hands slipping casually into his pockets, and sighed out the last of the smoke. All his years as a bounty hunter, and it was damn near pathetic how hard it was to find one person's hideout without any equipment to track him down. Made things a whole lot easier back when they would take him up on his first offer, but that only meant he'd actually had to work for once. Just added to the reasons why he was so anxious to blow the lid off of the place.

A few days of recovery between injuries and he was still on the mend, but Spike wasn't waiting for the next guy who got a little too stir crazy to pop up on him. That's what happened when half the city was populated by people who seemed to have crawled out of a lab somewhere. And maybe he shouldn't have told them exactly when he was coming, but the monk already knew what to expect. With the way they were advertising their prisoner, they must be feeling damn lucky that they hadn't gotten more house calls. But there also weren't a lot of people there that would risk their lives for someone they didn't know. Not after seeing their home videos.

For Spike, it was personal before Makina ever tipped him off about Nagi. He'd pay off that debt one way or another. It wasn't a complicated plan. He had his gun, a few untested explosives, and his new partner to watch his back. Usually Spike didn't ask for backup for a good reason, but it was his best bet for getting Nagi out alive, and he trusted Smoker not to get killed in the process.

Only variables were that he didn't know if the monk had the same abilities as the others, or if Nagi had been brainwashed while he was there. They'd find out soon enough. He never was very skilled at hostage situations, if he could still call it that, but he didn't care about winning a fight. Worst case scenario and he'd just have to knock Nagi out as soon as he saw him and use his makeshift grenades to bring the building down to cover their exit.

Spike wasn't that good at being subtle anyway.

(ooc: sorry for delay! you know me ~*~;;;)
