Alright, Sephiroth's meteor went boom, smashed into the city. Here's the rundown of what happened. (:
ONE. People who've evacuated all the way out of the city into the forest. You're fine. Good job, you've survived, and you get first-class seats to watch the city smash to pieces and go up in flames. 8) The rubble of the city will be on fire for quite some time, so you'll have to camp it out in the forest for a while, until the heat settles down.
TWO. People who didn't make it out of the city. You're dead. GOOD JOB. Your bodies are crushed by the falling meteor and/or burnt to a nice crisp.
THREE. People that Belin chose to save. Are the following:
✚ Aizen Sousuke (absterged)
✚ Lucifer (seditio)
✚ Nill (starlining)
✚ Ororon Gem Farrell (notmythrone)
✚ Tit (clearcleansky)
✚ Yuuki Cross (purebloodline)
Regardless of whether these people are actually in danger or not, some time before the impact, they'll be surrounded by a powerful gust of wind that circles them, a bit like a whirlwind. Any attempts to destroy it or exit from it will be useless, and it will gently nudge them towards the outer bounds of the city and into the forest. If they're still in the range of the damage when the meteor strikes, they'll be entirely unharmed. If they're still in the city after the meteor hits, the wind will shove them out of the city's boundaries and into the forest, then vanish. There is no explanation as to why they were saved, or how this worked -- but they get a free card out. You're welcome!
FOUR. People that Caim (indirectly) chose to save through his baggage carriers artifact bearers. AKA people who are with Zack (with the sword) and Nagi (with the shield.) Caim himself is in a bit of a pinch and isn't well enough to save people himself, but his artifacts are still plenty powerful! Shortly before impact, the sword and shield start reacting, and soon after cast giant barriers of ice. Unlike Belin's protective air-shields, these can protect more than one person each. And knowing the two suckers that are carrying the artifacts, that should save a few more people from a swift, crispy death, yes? Sort that out in the comments, plz. ETA: FORGOT TO MENTION AT FIRST, but like Belin's protection, after the initial impact, the ice barriers will start opening a path out of the city, since the city's still burning and it might be smart to wait for it to cool down before poking around, yeah?
FIVE. People that Dai chose to save. THIS IS A PLACEHOLDER we'll get back to you, SO SORRY ABOUT THIS. But! For now, assume that the people Dai 'owns' through the trading of dead people & etc. are protected from the meteor crash. So you guys get a free get-away from the death and destruction, too.
SIX. The city is now a giant smoking crater. Isn't it pretty? 8')
