Today I added two new guides to the Vidding Tech Wiki!

The first is Fixing Common Problems with Submitted Files which will hopefully help other folks who make dvds for conventions like we do at vividcon.

The second guide is about how to, with as few steps as I could manage, install Linux on a virtual machine so that you can run LlamaEnc on any ( Read more... )

Where I can get LlamaEnc and Llamamatic anyway? From what you've been saying, it looks like they'd work very well for putting together the DVDs for AnimeNEXT's AMV contest.

I'm in the middle of testing. The encoding GUI is pretty general purpose (makes an avisynth script and passes it to HC_enc and wavi to make .m2v and .wav files). The other application makes the dvds and it's been quite specialised for vividcon use. I've been expanding it to be a little more general purpose but it's got a long way to go before it fits that criteria.
