When working out a vid concept for gwyneth's auction vid, this idea for a Ripley vid emerged. I was really keen but Gwyn preferred for me to vid The Navigator (link soon) so I did. OH MY GOD. I love you for making this. I mean, LOVE. I doubted the song choice at first but it marries the dark, frenetic energy of the films so well. Thank you for making this!

This was so great! I haven't seen the movies, but the way you used the imagery was just perfect, and it was really impressive how much emotion you managed to pack in even when so many of the clips were super short or focused on action/aliens/technology/etc.

This is the perfect Ripley vid I've been looking for since I first saw the original 2 films last night. THANK YOU. Gorgeously done. The timing and clip choice just blows me away. And RIPLEY OH MY GOD. I love Ripley so much.

I was going to wait until I'd actually seen the movies before commenting, but that hasn't happened for several months so I'm going to do this now before the next VVC rolls around. :P Without knowing what is happening, I LOVED the editing of this, so much. The way you address so many quirks of the music is a joy to behold. I especially love the way you match the music to blips and swirlies on the screen. Oh and the strobing lights around the 1:10s! And the cutting around the 1:50s is so intense. Hehe, and the way the alien crawls over the music at 2:43. And the looong clip of her face and resolution at 3:30. It's soo good.
