YES CELLO! <3 Do you remember what the string brands were? You replaced the bridge? How does the soundpost look? ...before you file down anything, can you upload a photo of the D+G string?
Looks like the encore version of Maji Love 1000% from the first stage event. I don't quite remember exactly when this happens... I've seen the second stage more recently and a few more times than the first. Some of them are doing the anti-jump lololol
The string brands are crapptacular... the Red Label (that's what my violin/viola methods professor calls it... unless that is what they're actually called?) kind that I found in another cello case. I'm sure that the last time this cello was used was when TR had an orchestra program, which ended like three or four years ago. The bridge that was on the cello had tape in two areas and I found a Selmer Self-Adjusting one in another pocket. Like I mentioned, it's quite taller than the other one and the slope? isn't as slope-y as the other. I might change it back when I replace the C, but yeah, I can send you a few pictures this weekend when I get some time.
... I'll have to get back to you on the soundpost. I know it's there lol.
The orchestra director/professor of cello stopped by the office today needing copies. I mentioned to him I was picking up cello and he said I should get in touch with his grad assistant to get everything fine tuned and started. He also gave me two Spirocore C strings and said even though they're old, they'll still sound a lot better than what I have. He said if I end up needing to replace other strings, he'll help me out since he has string laying around he doesn't use :D !
I...I didn't even realise there was a a Utapri live. And now I'm watching then do Maji Love 1000% and ughhh so perfect. Even if part of me wants the seiyuu in their character's clothes? :P
Ahhhhh Utapri watcher! :D !!!!!!!! Like only one of my frends have watched it so I usually talk about the music non-stop to myself lol. And Suwabe, Taniyama, and Suzumura are my favorite seiyuu (and Maeno is a new favorite!) And Mamo and Shimono are just plain hilarious on stage. Character-wise, I like Ren the best. And Ryuuya-sensei XD. What about you?
I'm glad you were able to find a link to watch it! Suwabe is probably the closest to dressing like his character. Or at least, his hair is long enough...
There is a second stage too... and they had a third one, but the DVD is not out yet. Plus there are the Quiz-sama specials on the DVDs for both seasons and the sheer hilarity of almost all of them is totally worth watching. Have you seen/heard of them?
Favourites are so hard to pick! I'd probably say it goes Tokiya, Syo, Shinomiya. But I like all of them and the Tokiya bias really just comes from a bias towards Mamoru's voice.

I know... so many favorites sometimes! Cool, cool - so between the two of us, we pretty have everyone covered 'cause I do like Masato too. Just not Ittoki and definitely not Cecil
Oh! And from Quartet Night, it's got to be Camus for me. He is just way too fabulous ahahahaha. Atobe would even think it's too much XD
