more of me ranting
I can't reveal much, but it has to happen in the next few days... downtown, somewhere down there.
anyways, more ranting...
My final project for my senior seminar was on homosexuality and civil rights: it was odd. almost everyone else baked cookies or made quilts or did something relatively safe (some drew blood, if that is safe? we're fucking english majors! why draw blood???)

anyways, yes, so I presented all of my research to the class, passed out a handout filled with information on the debate, gay penguins (my original caption was "Chilly Willy and Opus get married," but I feared for its absolute truthfulness), and a segment from the Klu Klux Klan's manifesto which judiciously quoted from the bible (with the intent on saying "religion is mostly/all interpretation"). A few others made food and cookies and such.... this was a class about a black author, and I found it odd, maybe (???) stereotypical, that some of them brought fried chicken. maybe? hell, I don't want to be the judge. you can make me out with leiderhosen and chocolate all you want, doesn’t mean its right (alright, I'll give you the chocolate for the next few days)...
It's really a shame, to, as a Vegetarian club really did not get started up there until late in my year. I only kinda stumbled upon it with Dave after they showed a movie (Watership Down). Wish I could have been more a part of something like that. I've been cooking a lot recently.
