Pairing: Kangin/Eeteuk
A/N: When I first saw this theme it immediately reminded me of comic strip I read a year ago.
Eeteuk had always loved looking at the sky. Always dreamed of being able to touch it, being able to fly. He wanted to ride on an airplane and just fly over the horizon. He wanted to see what was beyond the clouds. He wanted to take a closer look at the stars that twinkle at night, even if it’s just a fraction. He wanted to feel what it was like being a bird, to be able to go to places he only dreamed of visiting. He wanted to feel what it was like to be free.
“Hyung?”
But there was one thing that keeps him on the ground.
“Hyung!”
He was afraid to fall.
“Eeteuk!”
Afraid that no one would be there to catch him.
“Would you get down from there?”
Eeteuk looked down from his position and smiled at Kangin. “Would you catch me if I fall?” he asked.
“Of course! Now would you get down from the tree before you hurt yourself?” the younger replied with a frown on his face.
“Promise?”
“Yes, I promise.”
Eeteuk just smiled and said, “Catch me.”
Before Kangin could say anything, Eeteuk had jumped off the tree branch. Kangin, moving on reflex, ran towards him and caught him just in time, but the impact had sent them both to the ground. Kangin groaned slightly then slowly sat them both up only to find Eeteuk smiling at him. “What the hell was that?!”
“You caught me.”
“Of course! I promise I would, didn’t I? Now please don’t try anything stupid like that ever again.”
