Are you worthy of my empty cans?

I've accumulated 2 garbage bags full of empty cans and bottles which have taken residence in my trunk for over 2 weeks now. I was supposed to take them to the Albertsons but I keep thinking that instead I will get the whole heapful to some worthy less-fortunate family or homeless person, often found going through the recycling bins in the alley
