I don't think I belong in Denver, the same way I didn't belong in a Catholic high school. There's really no other way to explain it, except that I knew it then and I can feel it now. My solution at sixteen was to up and move to South America, but is that sort of thing possible in my twenties? Aren't I supposed to be growing up now? Or is ( Read more... )

Loneliness is a state of mind, Grace. So's not belonging. But at the same time, we all have to find our niche, someplace we feel and think and really truly belong.

There's nothing wrong with just being yourself, and sometimes...lol...we just need to understand that. To feel that, truly, madly, deeply. To know that, without a doubt.

It's easier to love yourself and who you are when you finally realize that.
