hello good days!
Best weekend ever!! but, I haven't written in this in forever, where to start?
I'M ENGAGED! That happened on Christmas Eve, 2012. BEST DAY EVER.
Hitchings and I had dinner at his mother's house and he was acting funny and adorable, and his ma basically kicked us out after she handed him something I wasn't allowed to see. (I was super behaved though, I thought it might be a present for me but I didn't know how AWESOME it was going to be!)
It was snowing and absolutely perfect outside, so we drove around for a bit and looked at christmas lights. It was too perfect so we stopped the car and went to go throw snowballs at each other in the park (so I thought!) but just ended up walking around and then over to the gondola gazing at the Christmas tree and lights they had set up. Everything was so silent, there was no one else around, and the snowflakes were gigantic and fluffy and perfect. I gazed at them for a bit and then turned around to see Hitchings down on one knee. He pulled out the most perfect heart shaped porcelain box, with a red ribbon tied on it, and asked me to be his princess bride forever. Of course I said yes and cried and it was the most amazing moments in my life!! Now everytime I pass the park I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Everyone thinks I'm a sap.
2013 has been good to me so far. Yes there is no heat in my office still but I'm a champion at layering my clothes so it's not the worst. I turned 27 and had the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER. I have amazing friends and the most amazing fiance.
Last weekend I met up with all my family in Syracuse. I got to see my big sisters and my nieces and nephew and it was SO wonderful! That's the sort of thing I could use more of in my life!
