I've probably dealt with homophobic attitudes in several indirect ways, but now it may have hit close to home.  There's a pretty good chance that a couple of people in my life have caught on to my preference in guys, and it really doesn't feel good.  It just amazes me that people still hold on to archaic, hateful beliefs, especially when they, as

Yeah it sucks. I had to listen to another teacher at school telling me that if I choose to live in sin that's my issue...blah, blah, blah...

She was black. I just sat there wondering how she would react if I spoke of race the same way she was speaking of homosexuality, how would she feel?
