First I just gotta get this tiny part out of my system. *deep breath*
DEAN HAD HIS HANDS INSIDE SAMS TRUNK AND DROVE HIS STICK!!!!!!!!!
SAM/DEAN, DEAN/SAMPALA, I DID NOT SEE THIS COMING *DIES*
THE SAM/DEAN OTP SHOUT OUTS IN THIS EPISODE WAS EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ah that was better;)
With that out of the way I have a love/hate reaction to this episode, I love, love, LOVE most of the crack. The whole goofy intro with the tandem bike, the boys matching track suites, Sams highkicks and their faces was just adorable and I enjoyed the channel hopping, go
ash48. ;)
Sam turning into the impala was just epic and I really, really hope we'll get some fic soon*g* Sam's face in the herpes commercial*dies laughing* But I must admit I felt Sam got punished a lot in this episode with the nutcracker, the STD, the awful, awful game questions and the Trickster again laying the blame solely on our boys*sigh*
Which brings me to the hate part of the episode. I really dislike how they try and force fit every character in the show into their ridiculous angel storyline. Why for the love of Sam and Dean, did they make the Trickster into an angel!??? They pretty much ruined that character for me, thanks:( I can't get excited about it, all I thought was "oh bloody hell ANOTHER angel*shakes head* And the whole heaven and angels are just another dysfunctional family unite anvils we keep getting thrown at us, is plain ridiculous! I get that they want to draw parallels to Sam and Dean but to make out that the freaking apocalypse, God and heavens host is really just a domestic fight gone public, takes away all the mystery and interesting out-worldliness that was what made it even remotely interesting in the first place.
And this episode was another glaring example of how the writers just don't know what to do with Castiel. He has to be in 17 episodes so they shoehorns him in here and there with no purpose at all. He did nothing in this episode, he lived up to his nickname and was just useless to the storyline once again. It was like the writer went oh yes Castiel is here but we can't really use him, but we need people to remember that we put him in the episode, what do we do? Oh yes we make Dean ask for him a couple of times out of the blue! *shakes head* And all this glaringly forced "worry" to satisfy the Castiel fans was negated into nothing when Sam and Dean at the end left the warehouse, talked and took off in the impala without a look back at the angel.*gigglesnort*
I love this episode for the cracktastic love for Sam and Dean we got and the epic wincest shout outs:P I hated the episode for it's "rape" and rewrite of old canon and for the useless featherbag fanservice.
