You have an illness. It's contagious. It can kill people, and you had no thought to mention this before now?

That's correct.

It was a horrible mistake. I refrained to mention it as other individuals are more contagious than I am. This is something I have lived with my entire life and I have been trained to follow specific safety guidelines in order to avoid infection.

How did the infection not start the moment you arrived? Is it not as infectious as you're making it out to be?

I'm immune. I can only infect people through sharing bodily fluids. Non-immune individuals exhibit symptoms that make it ten times more contagious than me.

It was my mistake. I am not as contagious as other individuals. I follow strict guidelines in order to prevent infecting others.

What has occurred was a terrible mistake that could have been prevented had I been more careful. I do not intend on making that mistake again.

Staying in your room is your best bet. Touching anything an infected person touched could also lead to possible infection. So no, it's not strictly airborne.
