Friends!

Have any of you studies a foreign language outside of high school/college? What resources have you used - either to study a new-to-you language or to buff up on a language you started already - especially podcasts, computer software, or community things?

Help me meet PhD requirements!

Rosetta Stone. My guy and I have been studying Italian and Welsh via Rosetta Stone. I've found it to be easy and fun. :-)

I still keep up with French, but more through reading novels written in French. And I study German via historical documents about the Holocaust. It's easy to return to a language if the culture holds something you're interested in. (Italian hold the idea of our honeymoon and Welsh holds one of the oldest version of the King Arthur story.)

Also, picking up dictionaries and figuring out the grammar and writing a story in the chosen language has helped me out.
