the NF NT relationship

There were many things about the NF/NT relationship I didn't understand until I saw the connection in various communities. I have a question, though? I always see the relationship brought up in terms of close friendship, close enough at times to rival an NF/NF frienship. However, where does this translate in romantic relationships

i am definitely an INTP and my girlfriend of a year or so is a strongly defined INFP. i love the way that she can understand me and have all this love and express it in a way i can comprehend... but the NF idealist, subjective, inward, irrational, self-defacing but also egotistical ways clash with my more logical objective ways.
in fact, the ONLY fights we ever get in (they can get pretty nasty though) are over the differences between her Feeling and my Thinking. its hard for me to understand and legitimize the irrationality of her complicated feelings. of course to her i just seem insensitive.
