It’s come to my attention that I may not be viewed as a woman of exceptional judgment. People have a tendancy to point out my attraction to “bad boys”. However, only part of what they seem to analyze about me is accurate and I want to clear a few things up. I started to give it serious thought (to the point I felt I should write some of it down) ( Read more... )

Well you're the exception. You'll always be the token nice guy I dated that I let go I suppose.

once a token nice guy, always a token nice guy... it's something that we can't get away from... but I'm strangely ok with it.

Maybe women are only attracted to arrogant boys because all others are to shy to tell you how beautiful you are. At least you don't have to feel bad about hurting the feelings of a jerk when you need to end it.

Have you read the book He's Just Not That Into You? Ok, so it's got a bad title, but seriously Sara, it's soooo empowering! I know exactly what you mean by liking the bad boys, it seems like the guys who would make great boyfriends, I'm just not attracted to!! But really it's all about how a guy treats you. A guy can be a total cocky asshole, but if he meets a girl he really likes (you :) he'll treat you like a queen because he'll know he's lucky to have you! My new outlook for this semester (which is based heavily on the He's Just Not That Into You philosophy) is that I'm not sticking around in shitty situations when I can be out there single, meeting the guy who I will both be attracted to and who will treat me like I deserve to be treated :)We can't be wasting smart, hot girls like us on stupid boys now can we! Just some words of advice!!!

I'm reading that book right now on and off, actually. Funny because I've never really considered touching a book of relationship adivice or the like. However, it's rather enlightening, I agree. Plus it's like the second book my roomate's ever finished, so I figured it was worth checking out.

In the wonderful words of Greg: You already have one asshole. You don't need another.
